Twin diesel engines with six different manufactures used;
all ratted between 260bhp to 480bhp.

11 – 12.5 knots maximum, 11.4 knots continuous (according to engine
make).
Range:
1000 nautical miles
at 12 knots and 2000 nautical miles at 10 knots
Fuel Capacity:
1500 gallons, with the option of additional long range deck tank of 200
Crew Complement:
Two Officers, Two Petty Officers and eight to ten ratings..303 Lewis MGs and eight depth charges, a single 20mm
OERLIKON Cannon was added later. As the war progressed
two 20mm
OERLIKON Cannons were carried with two pairs of .303 Vickers MGs on the open bridge and four to eight depth
charges were still carried. Various other armaments were carried and used many Official
and many Unofficial fits.
ML 1302 was built in April 1943 by
Blackmore's at Bideford in Devon. She survived the war to be sold in November
1946 as a private Yacht called "SANTA KATERINA"

This model has been built with a hull and vac-formed wheelhouse supplied by POWERED BOAT
MOULDINGS. As you will see from the photos, how ML1302 progressed from the hull
upwards. The fittings used on ML1302 were made by ourselves and some other fittings used (not
on our list ) mainly those made from white metal and brass were obtained
